Bridges signifies resilience: a journey from darkness to light. It also signifies a connection between myself and you… and now I'd like us to use this to connect. Please use this platform as a message-board to share your stories of resilience, strength and appreciation for yourself and others. I can't wait to read them.

Growing up I was physically, emotionally & sexually abused. For a long time I blame myself because I was different than my relatives around me, then I blame God for making me live just so I can suffer from those. I dont have dark thoughts but I am so insecure about myself, closed up and built the wall so high and tick that it’s took years after to dismantle it myself. It’s took getting so drunk that I have no idea how I get home from clubbing and most of all it’s took the poem ‘Footprints on the Sands’ to bring me back. Since then I turn my life around, stay healthy, open myself to make new friends, travel the world wherever I get the chance. I couldn’t be prouder of myself that I survived those dark time and turn out to be a great person. You see whatever happen was not my fault. Thank ypu for letting me share my story🥰❤️
